Shopping for the best VPNs with dedicated IPs isn’t like shopping for your average VPN.

You need to pay attention to the add-on cost, the offered regions, and any restrictions or unique disadvantages (like with VyprVPN, discussed later).

Of course, you also need to consider the provider’s overall service in case you need to switch to a dynamic IP (to stream another country’s content, for example).

Luckily, the VPNs on my list were chosen for their dedicated IPs and their overall service.

Let’s get down to business!

In a Rush? Here’s a Sneak Peek of My Top 5 VPNs With Dedicated IPs!

If you’re in a rush, here’s a sneak peek of my top five VPNs with dedicated IPs:

  • Private Internet Access – Best Dedicated IP Overall (AU, CA, DE, UK, and the US)
  • NordVPN – Dedicated IP With Premium Security (NL, FR, DE, UK, and the US)
  • CyberGhost – Dedicated IP + 7400 Dynamic Servers (FR, DE, CA, UK, and the US)
  • Ivacy – Cheap Dedicated IP With Many Regions (HK, SG, CA, AU, DE, UK, and the US)
  • VyprVPN – Best Dedicated IP for Businesses (Any Datacenter Region)

But don’t forget to come back later and read my full guide!

I discuss lots of useful information that you don’t want to miss.

Private Internet Access

Best Choice

Private Internet Access (PIA) is the best VPN with a static IP. It’s an extra $5/month, and you can choose between five regions (AU, CA, DE, UK, and the US). Plus, if you unexpectedly need to switch to a dynamic IP, PIA has plenty of servers to choose from (30,000+). You’ll also get military-grade encryption, 10 simultaneous connections, and a kill switch – whether your IP is static or dynamic.

Detailed List of the 5 Best VPNs With Dedicated IPs

Ready for my in-depth reviews on the top VPNs with dedicated IPs, where I discuss why I chose them, how I chose them, and the specifics of their service?

Great, then let’s jump in!

1. Private Internet Access – Best Dedicated IP Overall

private internet access (pia) dedicated ip

As promised, Private Internet Access starts my list of the best VPNs with dedicated IPs.

So, if you want a permanent, private IP address for the fastest P2P experience or to avoid VPN-related bans in games due to other users on the same IP, PIA has you covered.

You can choose between five locations: Australia, Canada, Germany, the UK, and the US.

Just keep your use case in mind, as you won’t be able to switch regions “during the 1st interval of your subscription.”

For example, if you want a static IP for unlimited access to Hulu (to combat the streaming platform’s anti-VPN algorithm), ensure your static IP is located in the US.

However, whatever your use case, you’ll be happy to know that PIA only asks for an additional $5/month for its static IP.

And you can save even more by opting for a longer plan$4.25/month for 1 year and $3.75/month for 3 years!

private internet access (pia) dedicated ip period

Besides Ivacy (discussed later), this is easily the best long-term deal for a dedicated IP on my list.

In fact, it beats my runner-up, NordVPN, by a landslide!

But more on that in a minute – let’s discuss PIA’s speeds in the meantime.

PIA is already a fast VPN.

Maybe not the fastest on my list (NordVPN earns that title), but you’re sure to enjoy even faster speeds with your static IP, as you won’t have to share with other users, thus eliminating the possibility of network congestion!

However, if you need a shared (dynamic) IP, PIA’s server network is the most expansive on my list.

The last known number is 30,900+ servers in 78 countries!

So, whether you need a shared IP for streaming or bypassing an IP ban (etc.), PIA will get the job done.

And that’s not all.

PIA also makes purchasing and setting up its dedicated IP super easy!

The provider uses a token system, so not even they know what your dedicated IP is.

All you need to do is add the add-on to your basket during checkout, pay, and redeem the token in the PIA app.

Just make sure you don’t lose your token!

The provider can’t help you get it back, nor can they give you a new one.

Moving on, PIA is also compatible with all major platforms – Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and several browsers – so you can use your static (or dynamic) IP on all your devices.

Plus, no matter what IP or server you use, you’ll also get PIA’s industry-standard 256-bit AES encryption, kill switch, and no-logging policy.

But my favorite feature of PIA is its 10 simultaneous connections for both static and dynamic IPs.

That’s a crazy amount compared to the other VPNs on my list!

In fact, the second-highest limit is offered by Ivacy at 5 simultaneous connections, meaning PIA offers 2x that amount!

And as a last bonus, PIA’s subscription plans are very affordable:

Although, there’s a BIG discount waiting for you right here!

Pros

Cons

2. NordVPN – Dedicated IP With Premium Security

nordvpn dedicated ip

Up next is NordVPN – a provider that nearly placed first!

But there are a couple of reasons it didn’t, and they’re pretty major.

For starters, you can only get a NordVPN dedicated IP with a 1-year plan, and there are no shorter or longer options.

You also can’t host anything with your dedicated IP, as NordVPN doesn’t support port forwarding.

Additionally, the cost of NordVPN’s dedicated IP varies between $70/year and $79/year (depending on your location) – which equals $5.83/month and $6.58/month.

Not only is that more expensive than all of PIA’s plans, but it’s the most expensive dedicated IP on my list.

nordvpn dedicated ip 1yr plan

Finally, the process of getting a NordVPN static IP is a little complicated.

There’s no add-on feature like with PIA and some of the others on my list.

Instead, you need to make a second account, apply a specific coupon (“norddedicatedip”), and then contact NordVPN’s support team.

It also takes 1-3 business days to get set up.

nordvpn dedicated ip set up notice

But there’s also lots of good news – otherwise, the provider wouldn’t be in second!

First, you’ll get five regions to choose from: the Netherlands, France, Germany, the UK, and the US.

Second, NordVPN is the fastest VPN on my list!

This means your static IP will be even faster, as you’ll be the only one using it – so you can enjoy watching US streaming platforms while abroad without your IP getting flagged due to too many VPN users on the same server also trying to access the platform!

You also won’t have to deal with as many CAPTCHAs!

Another reason NordVPN places second is its premium security features.

For example, if you suddenly need to switch to a dynamic IP for security reasons, you can use NordVPN’s obfuscated servers to enhance that security even more.

nordvpn obfuscated server

Of course, NordVPN also has essential VPN security features, including 256-bit AES encryption, two kill switches, and a verified no-logging policy.

So, if you prefer using one of the provider’s non-obfuscated 5,200+ servers, you’ll still be protected!

Finally, NordVPN is compatible with all major platformsWindows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and several browsers.

Although it only offers two simultaneous connections for its static IP add-on – that’s better than CyberGhost with its one simultaneous connection.

But as one last bright side, NordVPN’s overall long-term plans are pretty affordable – especially when you apply this EXCLUSIVE coupon!

Pros

Cons

3. CyberGhost – Dedicated IP + 7400 Dynamic Servers

cyberghost vpn dedicated ip

In third place on my list of the most reliable VPNs with dedicated IPs is CyberGhost.

Like PIA, CyberGhost offers an affordable static IP solution with savings on longer plans.

For one month with a dedicated IP, you’ll pay $5.

For six months, $4.75.

And for 2 years, $4.

CyberGhost also uses the token system, meaning the provider never knows what your dedicated IP is.

But there’s a downside to that – if you lose your token, you can’t get it back and you can’t get a new one.

So don’t lose it!

Also, like PIA (and NordVPN), you’ll get five regions to choose from: Australia (Sydney), Canada (Montreal and Toronto), Germany (Frankfurt), France (Paris), the UK (London and Manchester), and the US (Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and New York).

cyberghost dedicated ip servers

This makes CyberGhost another affordable option for purchasing a static IP add-on, so you can enjoy a safe and fast P2P experience with a P2P-friendly VPN (or play your favorite games without concern over shared servers getting banned, etc.)!

Plus, getting a static IP is easy – it shows up as an optional add-on during checkout.

All you need to do is add it to your basket and complete your purchase!

cyberghost vpn dedicated ip price

But if you decide to switch over to the provider’s dynamic server options, doing so is also easy, and you’ll have over 7,400 servers to choose from (the second-largest server network on my list)!

There is a catch, though.

CyberGhost doesn’t have great speeds.

It’s still a fast VPN, of course, but it does regularly place last during my speed tests.

Still, you’re less likely to get iffy speeds when using a private static IP instead of the provider’s dynamic servers!

You’ll also appreciate CyberGhost’s must-have security features, including 256-bit AES encryption, a kill switch, and a verified no-logging policy.

cyberghost vpn automatic kill switch

The provider is also compatible with all major platforms – Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and several browsers.

Two more downsides, though.

First, you can only use your Dedicated IP on one device at a time.

Considering every other VPN offers at least two static IP simultaneous connections, this is rather disappointing.

And second, CyberGhost’s monthly plan is the most expensive on my list:

For that reason, I recommend its long-term plans.

You can even get a MASSIVE discount by clicking here!

Pros

Cons

4. Ivacy – Cheap Dedicated IP With Many Regions

ivacy vpn dedicated ip

Ivacy more than deserves its place on my list of the most reliable VPNs with static IPs.

Not only are its overall subscription plans the most affordable on my list – but so is its static IP!

So, while you can’t opt for anything longer than 1 month, you’ll only pay $1.99/month regardless.

ivacy vpn hk dedicated ip price

More than that, Ivacy offers the most static IP regions!

This includes Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Germany, Singapore, the UK, and the US.

ivacy vpn dedicated ip options

Plus, like PIA and CyberGhost, purchasing Ivacy’s static IP add-on is as easy as adding it to your cart and checking out!

No special coupons are needed.

Furthermore, with five simultaneous connections for its static IP, Ivacy is easily the best option for families on a budget who want a reputable VPN and an affordable static IP (for example, to watch Hulu while abroad without dealing with the platform’s anti-VPN measures).

ivacy dedicated ip device

There is a downside, however.

While Ivacy is fast, it’s not the fastest VPN on my list.

Luckily, speed loss isn’t too much of an issue when using a static IP vs. a dynamic server.

And you’ll still get faster speeds than CyberGhost!

The other reason for Ivacy’s lower placing is that it only offers the bare bones of security.

You’ll get must-have features like 256-bit AES encryption, a kill switch, and a no-logging policy – but you won’t get any extra security features like obfuscation (offered by NordVPN and CyberGhost) or a double VPN (offered by NordVPN).

The good news is that the bare bones are enough to keep you safe when switching to any of Ivacy’s 3,500+ dynamic servers!

Plus, Ivacy is compatible with all major platforms, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and several browsers.

And, as promised, it offers the most affordable plans on my list:

So THIS exclusive discount is just extra savings – think of it as the “cherry on top!”

Cons

5. VyprVPN – Dedicated IP for Businesses

vyprvpn dedicated ip for business

VyprVPN is a bit of a cheat entry.

Unless you’re ready to fork over a lot of pocket change or you’re a business looking for a robust VPN solution, this static IP option isn’t for you.

To start, VyprVPN only offers its static IP as part of its “VyprVPN for Business Cloud,” which starts at $349/year.

But the plan also comes with your own dedicated server, so you’re at least getting the best of the best.

vyprvpn plans pricing

You can also choose any VyprVPN data center region as your static IP location – something no other VPN on my list lets you do.

On the other hand, VyprVPN’s static IP business plan is complex to set up, as it involves creating your own server using Amazon Web Services, Digital Ocean, or VirtualBox.

So, while VyprVPN has in-depth tutorials on doing so, it’s still not user-friendly.

However, if you’re looking for the ultimate solution for your business (or if you’re a journalist, entrepreneur, etc.), VyprVPN for Business Cloud is an excellent choice.

You’ll get a dedicated account manager, apps for all major platforms, super-fast speeds, and all of VyprVPN’s must-have security features (256-bit AES encryption, a kill switch, a proprietary protocol, and a verified no-logging policy).

How to Find the Best VPNs With Static IPs?

Do you prefer doing your own research and tests?

That’s fine – but don’t go in blindsided!

Instead, give this section a quick read so you know exactly what to look for in the best VPNs with static IPs.

Your VPN Choice Should Be as Unchanging as Your Static IP – So Check Here Before Purchasing!

You don’t want to spend the next year switching VPNs and losing money spent on subs!

So, before you commit to a purchase, check that your choice meets the following criteria:

Dedicated IPs

This might seem obvious…but not every VPN offers a dedicated IP!

In fact, it’s more common to find VPNs that don’t offer dedicated IPs.

So, if your main purpose for purchasing a VPN is to use a dedicated IP, make sure your preferred VPN offers the option.

And don’t get confused by VPNs that have static server options (like Surfshark).

While the IPs might be static, they’re also shared, which defeats (some of) the purpose(s) of using a dedicated IP in the first place.

Static IPs: Cost, Location, Connections, & Setup

Beyond ensuring your VPN offers a static IP in general, you should also consider its cost, locations, connections, and setup.

The average price for a static IP is $5/month.

Some VPNs offer cheaper options (like Ivacy), and some offer more expensive options (like NordVPN).

However, considering you need to have a base VPN subscription to purchase a static IP, it’s also wise to compare the overall VPN services and not just their static IP add-ons.

This is why NordVPN places above Ivacy in my list – it offers extra features, extra security, and faster speeds.

That said, if your only concern is the static IP, you might prefer Ivacy for its lower price, five simultaneous connections (vs. NordVPN’s two), and seven regions (vs. NordVPN’s five).

Likewise, you might appreciate how easy Ivacy makes purchasing and using its static IP add-on, whereas NordVPN requires a few extra steps.

Or you might prefer to skip the hassle and get my top recommended VPN with a Dedicated IP add-on – PIA – right now!

To help you compare the static IP add-ons discussed in my article, here’s a table with all the key info:

VPN Provider Static IP Cost Long-term savings? Static IP Regions Static IP Setup Static IP Simultaneous Connections
PIA $5 per month Yes – up to 25% (3 years) 5 – AU, CA, DE, UK, and US Easy (add-on at checkout, token, and  one-click connect) 10
NordVPN $5.83-6.58 per month ($70-76 per year) No (1 year only) 5 – NL, FR, DE, UK, and US Some extra steps (coupon code, contact support, wait 1-3 business days, and then one-click connect) 2
CyberGhost $5 per month Yes – up to 20% (2 years) 5 – FR, DE, CA, UK, and US Easy (add-on at checkout, token, and one-click connect) 1
Ivacy $1.99 per month No 7 – HK, SG, CA, AU, DE, UK, and US Easy (add-on at checkout, hostname sent in email, and one-click connect) 5
VyprVPN $349 per year N/A Any VyprVPN datacenter region Complicated (create your own server using a third-party service) N/A

Fast Speeds + Large Server Network

Speed and a VPN’s overall server network are also important things to consider.

You never know when you’ll need to switch to your VPN’s dynamic servers!

For example, if your static IP is in the US (to stream Hulu from Europe, perhaps), you might want to try BBC iPlayer instead someday.

You’ll need a UK IP for that.

But, luckily, you’ll have access to your VPN’s dynamic servers!

So, you can switch over, and voila – iPlayer becomes immediately accessible (provided your VPN reliably unblocks it).

Thus, I recommend looking for a VPN with 3,000+ dynamic servers.

That way, you’ll have access to nearby servers and servers in countries with geo-locked content.

As for speed…well, you can’t stream in 4K without decent server speeds.

And that pretty much goes for any other activity, too.

Plus, you’ll also want your static IP to be fast.

My advice is to utilize your VPN’s 30-day money-back guarantee by purchasing a subscription, speed testing its servers, and requesting a refund if your expectations aren’t met.

Unblocks Content

So, you switch to a dynamic server to unblock BBC iPlayer…but it doesn’t work!

That’s to be expected – not all VPNs unblock streaming platforms.

Thus, it’s essential to confirm that your VPN unblocks any content you might want to access (like streaming platforms, VoIP apps, etc.).

Again, utilizing your VPN’s 30-day money-back guarantee is the best way to do this.

Device Compatibility

Make sure your VPN and static IP are compatible with all the devices you use!

This will (hopefully) be easy, as the best VPNs already support all major platforms, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and browsers.

This means if your VPN doesn’t, it’s not the best!

Security

Your VPN and static IP should have the bare bones of security (256-bit AES encryption, a kill switch, and a no-logging policy), but it’s even better if the provider has extra security features like obfuscation and a double VPN.

Subscription Fees

Before committing to a purchase, and especially because standard subscriptions are required to utilize a static IP add-on, ensure you’re getting the best deal for your VPN by comparing plans, prices, and features.

Can You Get a Free Dedicated IP?

No, you won’t find any safe, reputable VPN providers offering a free dedicated IP.

However, depending on the provider’s ToS and refund policy and how long you need a dedicated IP, you can purchase a subscription and a dedicated IP add-on, use it for 30 days or less, and then request a refund.

This will technically make your dedicated IP free for a short time.

How to Use a Dedicated IP?

Typically, using your dedicated IP is an easy process.

Using PIA as my example, the instructions will look something like this:

  1. Choose one of my recommended VPNs (or a VPN you found after thorough research) with a dedicated IP add-on.
  1. Make sure the dedicated IP add-on is selected and purchase a subscription.

  2. Open your browser and check for IP, DNS, and WebRTC leaks.
  3. That’s it! Enjoy your static, unshared IP!

Is a Dedicated IP Worth It? (Disadvantages You Should Know!)

There are many reasons you might want to utilize a static IP.

For example, there’s no worry of other users getting the IP blacklisted on games, streaming platforms, or websites.

You also won’t have to deal with CAPTCHAs as often.

Plus, from a business perspective, static IPs can help ensure your emails don’t get stuck in the recipient’s spam folder.

Or it can be used to make a secure access point to a remote server, helping keep you, your employees, and your data safe.

However, as with everything, there are several disadvantages to make a note of:

  • Your privacy is in jeopardy, as you’re no longer sharing a server with other users, meaning your activities and traffic belong to you and you alone. The easiest way to combat this is to only use your static IP when you need it.
  • Static IP add-ons can be expensive – and some only offer long-term plans (like NordVPN and VyprVPN).
  • Static IPs are at risk of DDoS attacks.
  • You can only connect to one location, and (most of the time) you’re stuck with that location until your next billing cycle. You’ll also be limited on simultaneous connections.

The good news is, it’s easy to switch between your static IP and your VPN’s dynamic servers!

So, as mentioned, when you don’t need your static IP, don’t use it.

FAQ

Are Static IPs Faster Than Shared IPs?

Yes, static IPs can be faster than shared IPs.

On dynamic VPN servers, network congestion (too many users on one server) can cause speed loss.

However, with a static IP, you’re the only one using the server, thus eliminating that possibility.

Still, the speed of your static IP will depend on its location.

For example, if you’re in Europe and your static IP is in the US, a dynamic server closer to your location will likely be faster than your static IP.

Are Dedicated IPs Safe?

Yes and no.

Dedicated IPs offer a safe solution for individuals and businesses who need a secure access point for remote servers, thus ensuring their safety and the safety of their data.

However, dedicated IPs are not shared with other users, meaning your activities aren’t lost in the traffic of a bustling server.

This makes it easier to link you to those activities.

This is also why it’s essential to ensure your VPN has a verified no-logging policy.

What’s the Cheapest Static IP?

The cheapest static IP is Ivacy at $1.99 per month.

And despite that Ivacy only offers a monthly plan for its static IP add-on, it’s still cheaper than even the highest savings offered by PIA (25% for three years).

Ivacy also offers the most regions to choose from (seven) and the second-highest amount of simultaneous connections (five).

Can I Get a Static IP In India?

I have yet to find a reputable VPN that offers a static IP in India, and I do NOT recommend using “VPN India,” as there’s not enough information or reviews about the company to ensure your safety after purchasing.

However, if you’re located in India, you can contact your ISP and request a static IP at an additional cost.

They should get back to you within a few days with your new static IP.

Can I Get a Dedicated IP In Australia?

I recommend getting a dedicated IP for Australia through PIA or Ivacy, as both offer affordable add-ons, fast speeds, and must-have security features.

Plus, if you need to switch to a dynamic (shared) server, there are many locations to choose from, including Australia.

That said, there are some comparisons to keep in mind.

Ivacy is the cheaper option ($1.99/month) while PIA offers the most simultaneous connections (ten).

Can I Get a Static IP With Port Forwarding?

Yes, several VPNs offer static IPs with port forwarding, including Private Internet Access.

Setting it up is also easy – in the app, navigate to Settings > Network Preferences and checkmark the box next to “Request Port Forwarding.”

Then simply connect to your static IP in the app.

Does ExpressVPN Have a Dedicated IP?

No, ExpressVPN doesn’t offer a dedicated IP.

However, if your reason for needing a dedicated IP is streaming-related, ExpressVPN is already one of the best VPNs for streaming, so a dedicated IP shouldn’t be necessary.

Does PureVPN Have Dedicated IPs?

Yes, PureVPN offers a shared static IP for free with any of its VPN plans.

It also has a dedicated IP add-on that you can purchase for an additional $2.99 per month.

And for an extra $3.49 per month, you can get a dedicated IP with port forwarding.

You can also choose from seven regions: the UK, the US, Germany, Canada, Australia, Malta, and Singapore.

Does Surfshark Have Dedicated IPs?

No, Surfshark doesn’t offer any dedicated IP add-ons.

However, the provider does offer free static servers with any of its VPN plans.

While these servers are shared with other users, they’re still beneficial if you need a static IP but not a private one.

Does IPVanish Have Dedicated IPs?

No, IPVanish doesn’t offer dedicated IPs.

The provider openly says their reason for this is to avoid the risk of web traffic being associated with a single user.

This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as it means the provider takes its users’ privacy seriously.

What’s the Best Dedicated IP VPN?

The best dedicated IP VPN is Private Internet Access (PIA), as it offers affordable plans ($5/month), savings on long-term plans (up to 25% for three years), 10 simultaneous connections (the most on my list), and five regions to choose from (AU, CA, DE, UK, and the US).

PIA is also one of the fastest VPNs on my list and offers port forwarding and 30,000+ dynamic servers for users who want to switch between static and dynamic IPs.

Which VPN Has Dedicated IPs in the Most Countries?

Ivacy has dedicated IPs in the most countries: Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, Australia, Germany, the UK, and the US.

You can choose any region for your dedicated IP and only pay $1.99 per month to use it.

Ivacy also offers the second-highest number of simultaneous connections for its dedicated IP (five).
